Happy new week! I hope you all had an awesome weekend of love. To be honest, Valentine’s Day is not my favorite holiday, but I enjoyed an AMAZING date night with my hubby at Mahogany Prime, so I can’t complain. If you are in Omaha, it is well worth the trip!
Last week was also surgery week for my daughter, Cameron. Those tonsils and adenoids are finally GONE! Hopefully, it is smooth sailing from here on out. Her recovery has been a little rough (that surgery really stinks!), but we have enjoyed having our teenager at home, at least. Silver lining, right? We are snuggled in today and making my “famous” chili for dinner tonight. Check out my recipe here.
And it’s President’s Day, so we are enjoying another school-free day. It was so great to sleep in! We are headed to Utah to see my son and his new wife at the end of the week, and I am so anxious to head to that beautiful state! I hope you have the best week, too!
