With summer getaways in full swing, you have a lot of choices when it comes to destinations and hotels. I recently had the pleasure of being hosted by the staff of the fabulous Ironworks Hotel Indy on a blogger getaway with my best blogger gal, Christie of Christie Fighting Spirit. And I can only come up with one word to describe our stay…..WOW! From the moment you set foot in the lobby, you know that this is going to be an experience unlike any hotel you have ever been in!
We were greeted by an incredibly friendly valet crew and directed to the second-floor lobby. The architecture is a true throwback to a different time. I call it Industrial Chic, they call it Industrial Heritage. But whatever you want to call it, it is simply gorgeous. The air is purposely scented with a sexy cologne that adds such a nice touch (one of my favorite parts of the hotel). Take a look at some of these images we captured as we walked in. Nestled in the The Keystone Crossing in Indianapolis, Ironworks Hotel Indy is the north side\’s only boutique hotel and is conveniently located just across from the Fashion Mall at Keystone. But it is meant to be an experience and a getaway all on its own. With restaurants for every dining mood, you don\’t ever have to leave. The hotel features 4 amazing restaurants that are attached to the hotel, including the divine and upscale Provision (with outdoor patios to die for!), Blue Sushi Sake Grill, the breakfast and lunch offerings of Rize, and the curated drinks and outdoor patio of The Daredevil Hall. The campus also includes Ruth\’s Chris, Sangiovese Ristorante, and Yolk. You truly never need to leave the hotel to enjoy a variety of dining with enough options to last your entire stay!
Even the walk through the hallway to your room exudes the moody sexiness of this hotel. When we opened the door to our room, it took a few minutes just to take in all of the details. We stayed in the Heritage Room that offers luxurious beds, brick walls, a 70\” television, a tufted leather couch in the sitting area, a rustic double work desk, and blackout blinds. And trust me when I tell you that each room is an experience and will have you wanting to return to try all of the different levels of rooms and suites.
Even the bathroom continues to show the attention to detail that the Ironworks Hotel Indy offers. Featuring a white, crisp design, the bathroom is like having your own spa with a large shower and high-end personal care products. On a side note, the opaque wall of the shower that is visible in the room itself adds a sexy little element if you are traveling with your significant other!
The extra touches continue with a Keurig in every room, a bottle of wine with wine glasses, free to-your-door ice delivery, and available room service from all of the restaurants in the hotel.
If you do decide to leave your room, the Ironworks Hotel Indy features a state-of-the-art fitness area, amazing event spaces, and a spot for your furry family members to grab a drink and a treat. Yes, they are even pet friendly!
From start to finish, our stay at the Ironworks Hotel Indy was unforgettable. The staff couldn\’t have been more accommodating. They went above and beyond to make us feel special, and that is not something I can say about all hotels. The welcome gift from the staff featuring lots of Indy\’s local offerings (you had me at truffles and popcorn!) was just the cherry on top of a first-rate experience.
I hated for our stay to come to an end, but I am already planning my return visit with my hubby! Sending a HUGE thank you to the staff of the Ironworks Indy Hotel for making this one of the BEST hotel stays I have ever had. You have a new fan here, and I will definitely be back!
