Happy Monday! Can you believe August is here already? And this year, August brings one of one of the most highly anticipated sales of the year, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! This sale usually happens in July, but with all of the craziness going on in the world, Nordstrom pushed the sale to August. I, for one, am happy to see the sale happen closer to the start of fall, since it is essentially a Fall preview!
If you aren’t familiar with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, it is a great opportunity for Nordstrom cardholders to grab those fall staples at a fraction of the price. All of the boots, cardigans, and blankets you could ever want are on sale before the season starts. Even if you are still soaking up in those final days of summer, this is one sale you don’t want to miss! Here are my top picks from the sale. A word of caution about the sale….
These are just a few things I have found and would love to try! I encourage you to stick to the pieces you know you will use. Staple pieces are always a good idea. And a little splurge on that “want” for yourself is never a bad thing! But try not to get caught up in the buying hysteria that always accompanies this sale. It’s funny, the scarcity mentality will make you buy things you didn’t really want or need. But Nordstrom has such an amazing return policy, so if you see something you like….buy it early. Many items will sell out! Some restock, but many don’t. Either way, enjoy the sale! Happy shopping!
