With the new year upon us, I wanted to share the most-loved items of 2020. It’s always fun for me to take a look back and see what items you enjoyed as much as I did. I’ll share my personal “Top 5” things that I can’t (or just don’t want to) live without, too!
1. White Button-Down Boyfriend Shirt
By a landslide, your most-loved item of 2020 was this oversized button-down shirt. Who would think that such a simple and traditional piece of clothing would be my most-sold piece?! But it is so versatile, I am not surprised! I have styled it so many ways. This is a super affordable and timeless shirt you will wear again and again! Check out my favorite ways to style it here.
2. Distressed Denim Jacket
This one doesn’t surprise me at all! You all know how I feel about denim jackets, and this one tops my list! I sized up to a medium (it’s already oversized). The trucker-style and perfect amount of distressing on this jacket makes it hard to beat. I did an entire blog post on different ways to style it, check that out here.
3. Layering necklaces
Layering chunkier necklaces was by far one of my favorite trends of 2020. And I don’t see this trend fading anytime soon. These pieces from A Styled Collection will become your go-to. Such amazing quality!
4. Ombre Sweatsuit
Another non-surprise here! 2020 was definitely the year where elevated loungewear took center stage. This adorable and affordable set is still available, so grab it while you can. Pants run TTS, and I sized up to a large on the top to make it very roomy.
5. Oversized Sweater
The coziness of this sweater cannot be overstated! In true fashion, I loved it so much that I bought it in several colors. It is legging friendly and generously sized. I grabbed a small in this one. You will have this sweater on repeat, trust me!

Last year was one for the books! When staying home became the new norm, our “must-have” list definitely changed. Here are a few things that I just can’t live without!
1. Faux-leather leggings
Even though being comfy while we worked was all the rage, no one said we could be stylish, to0! These faux-leather leggings from Spanx will forever have a place in my heart and wardrobe. Most people size up. You want them to do their job but not cut off or circulation, lol. I wear a size 26 in denim and wear a medium in the leggings.
2. Slim can cooler
It’s safe to say that my love for my new can coolers is more of an obsessions. If you love a cold drink while you sit at your desk, you will definitely love them, too! I actually a cooler to fit every can size. See the 12 ounce cooler here, and the 16 ounce cooler here.
3. Barefoot Dreams Blanket
The indisputable winner of cozy blankets is this throw from Barefoot Dreams. While there is a luxury version for $180, you can snag one here for just $50. At this price, they sell out EVERY time they restock, but if you keep checking, you can find them. They restock in the morning, so check early to make sure you grab one. You will NOT regret the investment, and you probably won’t want to share it, either.
4. Pellet Ice Maker
I’ve never been able to explain my obsession with Sonic ice. So one of the highlights of 2020 had to be when we finally decided to treat ourselves to this countertop ice maker so that we could enjoy this delicacy at home. It’s worth every penny!
5. Combat boots
Like a lot of 90’s fashion trends, Dr Marten combat boots came roaring back in style last year. One of the best things to come out of 2020, if you ask me! The 1460 version truly is the most comfortable combat boot I have ever owned. It falls into the must-have category, without a doubt.
I’d love to know what your must-haves were for 2020. Leave a comment below and tell me what made your list!
