Happy Wednesday! Fall is in full swing, and I’ve had my my favorite denim jacket on repeat already! If you know me, you know a good denim jacket is one of my favorite things I own. So I thought it would be fun to share some fun ways to style a denim jacket.

Denim jackets pair so beautifully with monochromatic looks. And black on black is my favorite! It is classic, elegant, and even effortless. Add in a heel and some jewelry to elevate the look.

Leggings are meant for denim jackets!
Leggings go with a lot of things, but none more perfect than a denim jacket. I added in a longer tunic tank (I’m a big fan of covering the booty when you have on leggings). You could easily dress this look up with booties or down with sneakers. Either way, leggings (grab the holy grail of leggings here) will always be a great option for your favorite jean jacket. Layering a denim jacket for cooler temps
I am always sad to see fall temps fade into cold weather, partly because denim jackets alone aren’t quite enough for the Midwest winters. But layering your denim jacket with sweaters and sweatshirts not only gives you a fun and edgy look, it also gives you some opportunities to wear it just a little bit longer. For an extra fun detail, pull the sleeves of an oversized sweater past the cuff of your denim jacket. Such an edgy detail, and sneakers just complete the look!
